What is the difference between Debossed and Embossed?

On Debossed tags the symbols are stamped down. On Embossed tags the symbols are stamped up. Some DEBOSSED tags are filled with letter fill which really makes the symbols stand out!

What symbols are available?

Letters, Numbers, Commas, Periods, Dashes, and Apostrophes are the only symbols we can print as we are not using  a computer. We use WWII era machines to print the tags.

Is shipping free?

Yes, here at US Military Tags we strive to keep shipping free and fast.

I would like to place a bulk order (20 or more tags). How would I do that?

If you would like to place a bulk order of twenty or more tags with us please get in touch with us via email or Facebook.

When I try to place an order it says “Printing Info REQUIRED FIELD.” How would I fix that?

Since our dog tags are custom you must fill out every line in the printing info boxes. If you would like a line blank please write “BLANK” in the line. Once all lines are filled and you place your order it should go through.

Do you sell products through eBay and Etsy?

Yes! We have operated through eBay and Etsy for many years! Check out our eBay and Etsy stores!

What do you write on them?

Feel free to write anything you want. You can have something different printed on each tag – you get 2 tags in a set. You get 16 spaces across and 5 lines down. We have provided some samples formats below. Many customers ask us, “What format did they use during WWII?” We answer a definitive “it depends”. The WWII formats we have provided are the two most common. During the 1940’s, preparing for a world war was a hectic time. “It depends” on what information was actually put on the tag by where and when a soldier entered the war, the time restraints in making the tags, supplies available, and requirements necessary to that unit.
